Adsense Moneymaking
Adsense is an excellent way to monetize your website.
Its from Google and it is those little blue ads you see at the side of many websites. It is free to join and easy to use and also offers video and picture ads too. the address is on the Google Main Page.
You should first get some really sensible advice - from one of the recognised Gurus like Joel Comm.
Joel has written an EXCELLENT Book called the Adsense Code and this is being extensively marketed
and sold by Amazon.com.
It’s only about $15 and you can also get lots of freebies from him directly just for purchasing a paperback.
I bought a copy and spent two days reading and re-reading it and was surprised at the results when I took his advice on some
(what seemed minor changes) changes to one of my websites. I wouldn’t say the difference was huge but it certainly doubled the click-throughs and sometimes more.
Do purchase a copy if you don’t already have one.

1: Do not go the the top paying keywords - there will probably be too much competition
Go for the keyword between 50cents and 99 cents - it is surprising how they add up.
2: Use fonts similar to those used by Google in their ads -that way you will get more clicks.
Try Arial or Verandah .
3: Keep your ads above the Top Fold (the part of the page you see before you have to scroll down)
4: Most clicks come from text ads but medium sized block ads do work in hot spots.
(Try in the top or middle left)
5: Keep testing your site to see where people click the most
(this is IMPORTANT)
6: do not use colorful or flashy banners - keep your pages simple - just adsense and text
Remember that you can’t put adsense on sites that sell or push immoral things like sex,adult,porn,drugs,liquor,tobacco
and quite a few other things too.
Layout and colour of Adsense ads is very important but adsense should only be used on pages with REAL content to help people.
Check out the Google list and terms before you even start building your website.

Remember that you can no longer use pictures tight next to adsense ads nor can you use please click here or any other similar phranse to get people to click ads.
Do not buy traffic to go to your websites or Google will expire you forever.(purchased traffic usually comes from adult or gambling sites and that is a big no-no with google).
Made for Adsense websites or pages no longer work so do not bother buying one.Google is bright enough to know and recognise these.
To make moneyfrom Adsense use a page with ORIGINAL CONTENT
and then follow Googles instructions on the HOT SPOTS where you should put your ads. Make sure the page has RELEVANT KEYWORDS in its meta tags as I think this is one of the things Google looks for.
