How to Write and Sell Articles For Cash
Did you know that hundreds of thousands of people are (as you read this) building their own websites.
This means that they ALL need CONTENT for their websites.
YOU can make money selling them articles.
Articles vary in length from 250 words up to around 800 words (longer than that is to much for the attention span of most people)
Webmasters/mistresses need aarticles at a price they can afford.
It is essential that you are a native writer in the language you are offering articles (It rapidly becomes apparent if your native language is not English for instance.)
You will be a much more popular writer if you can prove yoursef to be an efficient and informative writer in a niche field - that way you will corner the market and gain a loyal following.
The average article is around 600 words and you will get paid $5 for each unique article.(more if it is a specialist subject)
Your article will have to contain 3 or 4 KEYWORDS scattered logically thoughout the article several times for each keyword.
The client will give you a list of keywords for each article.These are designed to either attract people to his/her website to buy things or to attract search engines to visit the site.
I myself buy packages of articles of subjects that interest me (photography,art,animals) and it is worth visiting several article sites to check out your competition.
It is very easy to make 40 to 60 dollars a day writing for other people.
If you accept a commission then do NOT sell the same articles again (or use them yourself) or you may get into legal trouble
Have a sample article that you can send to clients (they will only hire you when you have something worth seeing )
Good places to sell your articles are the Digital Point Forums and elance.com.
An alternative is to package 10 articles on a smimilar subject together and sell the package for $30 or $40. People often prefer to accept articles in a zipped form (winzip is a good program for this) and limit the distribution to 20 or 30 packages on that subject.
Advertise these and you could be getting up to $900 in your Paypal account. (A Paypal account is esssential to get paid quickly - do not send articles until you have been paid)
Another way of selling articles is to advertise them as plr aricles (that means they are non exclusive and the customer can pretend they have written them !)
Visit some PLR websites and you will see what I mean.
You will get very little for plr articles but popular subjects sell in their hundreds.
Another way of making oney with articles is PLR re-writing.
The customer supples plr article to you and you rewrite them so that they still make sense to the reader but include Keywords.
The articles must not be duplicate content (not substantially the same as the original and you will need a program called Copyscape to check this before sending them to the customer.
This generally pays a bit less - around $3 an article but it is fast work and if you get 10 or 20 customers you can make a lot of money.
None of these methods will make you a millionaire (yet) but it is a step on the way. Try writing 2 or three articles on a subject you know a lot about - like gardening,model cars or stamp collecting.
